Trinity UMC’s choir is under the direction of award-winning Gospel singer-songwriter, Lanny Wolfe. Lanny has been directing the music and arts department of Trinity UMC for the last 10 years.
Before settling in Houston, Texas, Lanny grew up in the Midwest in Columbus, Ohio and his career in music has taken him all around the globe.
Lanny has written over 700 songs and more than 14 musicals.

Elizabeth Dees-Taylor serves as Trinity UMC’s Worship Leader. Elizabeth is the wife of Trinity’s Senior Pastor Seth Taylor and daughter of retired Trinity UMC Pastor Corlis L. Dees II & Datha Dees.
Among her many gifts and talents, Elizabeth brings her passion for serving God, loving others, and worshiping Jesus to her leadership in the church.
She is the mother of five children (and several fur babies). Elizabeth is the owner of Brooks Insurance Professionals, Inc. and Queen’s Cafe & Dining and is heavily engaged in the local Shelbyville community.
